Friday Night Meet and Greet Venue Change

Posted by hannaclassof64 on April 27, 2014 at 3:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Please note that the Friday night Meet and Greet has been changed from the Holiday Inn to Club 134 in downtown Anderson.  In order to see pictures of the inside and outside of the place, please go to the following link: http://www.club134anderson.com/

We had to change our gathering place because we have over 100 people coming (what a great problem to have!), some of whom can't make it on Saturday night. Come both nights and you'll have a better chance to catch up with everybody!

If you haven't sent in your check to attend, there's still time to get you on the list.  Contact us at [email protected] and we'll send you a copy of the reservation letter to mail or to email to us.  While we won't be able to include your information at this late date in the Directory, we'll have your contact infomation for the next reunion.

We want you to join us as we have over 200 confirmed attendees for Saturday night's festivities.  What a way to celebrate our 50th reunion!

Remembering the "good ole days"

Remember the band postal service when we were sophomores?  We at Hanna couldn't wait for lunch to end and the band members to come back with notes from Boys' High.  I daresay that situation was unique to our school experience.

The Reunion Venue

Posted by hannaclassof64 on July 5, 2013 at 5:10 PM Comments comments (4)

The Reunion Committee has booked the Carolina Wren Park, completed last summer on the property downtown that was the old Gallant Belk Store.

Go to the following website, http://www.neighborhoodpreviews.com/profiles/carolina-wren-park-anderson-sc/, to see the new area which seems ideal for our reunion. The adjacent red brick building located on the left of the site will house storage, restrooms, a warming kitchen for events, and also functions as an open air pavilion for the park. Maximum number of persons seated is 208, standing is 447; this includes overlook C (61 standing and 28 seated).

The rental fee is $350 for 4 hours ($50 for each additional hour) Monday through Friday and $375 ($60 for each additional hour) on weekends and holidays. Any tables, chairs, etc. needed will be obtained by the City and costs will be paid by the renter. We think it will be great fun for us all to be right smack in the middle of our 'ole hometown to celebrate our 50th! Is Anderson ready for this??!
